I‘m cracking on with Halloween craft already! First up are some pop-out party invitations. There are two versions, one with text and one without. They are really easy to make and take about 10 minutes per invite.

The secret to being the best Halloween destination on the block? These goody bags. Only the highest caliber of zombies, witches, princesses, and vampires are worthy of the coolness you’re handing out.

 

DIY Calaveras candle jar

Halloween is coming … so some decoration was needed! I think the Mexican decorations for “el dia de los muertos” are beautiful. It’s where I did get the inspiration to make these lanterns. Feel free to ad color or to use colored paper

We’ve been making shadow puppets! My sons have always loved playing with torches in our downstairs cupboard so the shadow puppets have had a lot of use.

You guys know about Spoonflower, right? I’ve had more than a couple designs printed through them, and ya know what? They’re amazing. There’s really something so very fun about having your own illustrations printed on fabric. And making these Halloween plus reminded me of that all over again.

 

Let’s Make Halloween Pompoms

There should be pompoms for every occasion and so here are a few for Halloween! Soft ghost pompoms make great Halloween toys for tiny hands. I’ve also found out that pompoms are perfect for making hideous monsters that bigger kids will have so much fun with.

I have always been a huge fan of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. It is definitely one of my favorite rides there! I think it has inspired a lot of my Halloween décor too. I just love that spooky Victorian look!
