Our mission at Soldigo is to help people make a living doing what they love. We want to give the opportunity to every small business, especially artisans and designers, to have their branded space in the online world where they can advertise and sell their work, their products. We wish to do this in the most transparent way possible and meeting every legal regulation. In the near future we will make a few updates of our legal documents and our available plans.
General Data Protection Regulation
There will be a big General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) update on the 25th of May this year which means that there will be new standards on how companies use, store and protect personal data of citizens in the European Union. Soldigo makes everything to meet these regulations so our team is taking the necessary steps to ensure that our data policies are compliant with GDPR. At the moment our team is performing an audit and documenting everything related to personal data so we can finish the new legal documentation until the beginning of May and implement the necessary updates before the deadline. These regulation will effect the Soldigo store owners as well but will we write a separate blog post about this.
The Free Soldigo Plan
In the last few months we faced a few unusual situation, that is, we received complains against Soldigo stores that are scamming people. After an internal and external investigation we came to the conclusion that few of the complaints were true. However, in order to prevent the future possibility that something like this happens we decided to cancel the Free Soldigo Plan, since some of these stores were using this plan. This update will take effect at the 15th of May, 2018 and the updates will be included in our Terms and conditions.
We will continue to update you along the way so stay tuned.
